Essentially the loft “look” is being applied to the suburban tract home, which has proven to be the welcome recipient of many “looks” that have little or nothing to do with suburbia. “Factory Chic” appeals to those who want “City living without the city,” according to the developer of Stone Canyon, a loft subdivision in Las Vegas.
